Bluefield, Va. was the guest of Misses Helen and Alice Grubb over the
weekend.
- Messrs S. E Leffel, Mustard Pruett, O.C.
Gregory and Wiley Compton were the ones from here attending the Legion
convention in Roanoke this week.
- Mr and Mrs. Craig Leffel visit their brother
and sister, Mr. and mrs. J.B. Leffel, of Roanoke, the first part of the week.
- Clyde Jack Shawver, employee of the
Appalachian Power Company at Welch, spent the week end with parents, Mr. and
Mrs. W.L. Shawver.
- Miss Carrie Leffel was shopping in Bluefield
Va Friday.
