	BARRETT-MAYNARD Coming as a surpise to friends here, was the marriage of Miss Martha Ellen Barrett, who on Sunday afternoon, became the bride of Mr. Bernard Maynard. The ceremony uniting this popular young couple was performed by Rev. H.B. Blackburn at his home in Goody, Pike County, Ky. Mrs. Maynard, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Barnett, whose home is on the highway three miles west of Tazewell, was educated in Tazewell High School and for the past several months has been employed as bookkeeper for Farm Bureau. Mr. Maynard, native of Pike county removed to Portsmouth O., several years ago, is now holding responsible position with the Philadelphia and Reading Railroad. Following a brief bridal tour, Mr. and Mrs. Maynard will be at home at 106 Oakland Road, Upper Darby, Philadelphia, Pa.
