Son of Robert Henry Bandy & Elizabeth Jane Beavers.  Born on 01 May 1905 in Bishop, Va.  Killed 27 October 1958 in the Pocahontas Mining Explosion while working there as a coalminer.  He married Nancy Jane Stacy and they had three children:  Catherine Gladys, Belva Lorrane and Arnold Mays.  Photo taken in the 1940's - 1950's
