Mary Ellen (Lockhart) Puckett

Mrs. Ellen Puckett, 57, of Fairview Street, Bluefield, Virginia, died at 7:18 o’clock last night in Bluefield Sanitarium where she was admitted in a critical condition earlier in the day. Death was attributed to a complication of ailments. Mrs. Puckett was born in Whitens Valley in Bluefield Virginia and had been a resident of Bluefield Virginia for the past twenty eight years.  Funeral services will be held at her home at 2:30 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, conducted by her pastor, the Reverend Blaine Hampton of the Pentecostal Holiness Church and burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, West Graham.   Her husband preceded her to the grave. She is survived by the following children: Henry and Billie Puckett of Bluefield Virginia, Mrs. H.. O. Neil of Gaithersburg Maryland, Mrs. J. E. Fields of Bluefield Virginia. Mrs. Chester Strouth of Bluefield West Virginia, Mrs Eugene Strouth of Bluefield Virginia, Gladys Puckett of Bluefield Virginia and Mrs. Pearl Tate of Nemours
