Born at Raven, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Bertha Ray Hess, Both Russell co. natives. She was a resident of the Raven area most of her life.and a member of the Bible Way Church at Raven. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dailey Plaster: three sisters and four brothers.

Survivors: daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Margaret) Steele of Honaker,Va.; son, Cecil Andrew Plaster of Raven; sisters, Mrs. Clifford (Peggy) Bailey and Mrs. Claude (Olaf) Taylor both of Akron,Ohio, Mrs. Winfred (Gladys) Horton of Raven, Mrs. Paul (Helen) Jones of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Mrs. Glen (Juanita) Meade of Richlands; brother, Larry (Ett) Hess of Swords Creek; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Hurst-Scott Funeral Home Chapel in Richlands, Va., with the Rev. Dannie Short and the Rev. Dennie McLemore officiating, Burial will be at Clinch Valley Memorial Cemetery at Richlands.

Pallbearers are Wayne Taylor, Curtis Steele, Tim Justice, Doug Tuggle, Greg Keene, Danny Horton, Jerry Clark, Paul Akens and Jeffrey Horton.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Hurst- Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Va., is in charge of arrangements.
