Funeral services for Mrs. Mary McGlothlin, 79, were held Sunday afternoon from the residence at 1 with the Rev. John W. Sullivan, Officiating. Interment followed in the family cemetery near Raven.

Mrs. McGlothlin was born in Tazewell County, the daughter of the late Christopher and Amanda Samples McGlothlin.

Surviving are the following children; Ruey, Cedar Bluff, Va., James, Dot, Joe, Bell, Maggie, Carma, all of Raven, and Mrs. Emory Horton of Swords Creek, one sister Mrs. Bell Horton, Raven, and three half sisters Mrs. Bessie Lawon, Raven, Mrs. Dora Owens and Mrs. Troy Vance both of Swords Creek.

She is also survived By sixteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The remains were removed from he Farmer Funeral Home to the home of the deceased Friday afternoon.
