William Gordon Horn, 70, farmer of Brown Ridge, died at his home on Friday following a long illness the nature of which was said to have been cancer.

Funeral services were held for him at the home on Sunday at 1 PM with the Rev. Albert Ball officiating. Burial was in he family cemetery. Arrangements were by Farmer and Co.

Mr Horn was a native of Buchanan County. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mattie Brown Horn, one daughter, Uva, and four sons, Jay, Roy, Ernest and Hallie, and two brothers Wallace and James.
