Charles Sawyers died Saturday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Claude Waddell at Five Oaks. He was 85 years of age. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Waddell home in charge of the Rev. T.A. Freeman. Besides his daughter, Mrs. Waddell, there survives his widow and two sons, Frazier and David Sawyers of Tazewell. |
